Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or unsure about the next steps in your life? You don’t have to navigate these challenges alone. I believe that your story matters and that you have the power to reshape it in ways that align with your values, strengths, and dreams. I will help you explore the experiences that have shaped your identity, challenge negative self-beliefs, and create new, empowering perspectives I specialize in helping individuals navigate self-esteem challenges, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship struggles, burnout and trauma. My approach is client-centered and holistic, incorporating evidence-based techniques like Narrative Therapy, CBT, and mindfulness to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and empowered. Therapy is an investment in yourself. It’s about reclaiming your voice, rewriting your story, and embracing the life you deserve. If you’re ready to begin this journey, I’d love to support you along the way. I am available by phone or email to answer any questions you may have. Looking forward to working with you!

I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults and have experience in many different settings such as the local school system and most recently at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. I strive to welcome clients with warmth and non judgment and create a space that feels safe for honesty and growth. My specialties are working with those who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, chronic illnesses/pain, grief and life transitions. I believe the relationship is the most important piece of the therapy process and plan to meet you wherever you feel comfortable, whether that is using art or taking a walk outside. As your therapist, I hope to empower you and to provide a safe place to process life’s journey, whatever that looks like for you.

I provide therapy to young adults who are coping with the stressors of college. I routinely help people who are coping with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and impulse control problems. In addition to my general practice, I specialize in helping people who have a history of sexual abuse and/or sexual acting out. I also conduct psychological evaluations that can assist with understanding the root of the problem and can clarify a person's diagnosis, which can help with determining what type of treatment and/or medication may be needed. There are many other therapists in my group private practice that offer additional therapy services such as substance abuse treatment, trauma treatment (including EMDR), treatment for ADHD, treatment that addresses gender identity concerns, etc. The cost of therapy depends on which therapist you see (master's level versus doctoral level). In addition to the insurances listed below, I am also on Wellcare and CareSource.

College can be an exciting time, but it can also feel overwhelming. Many of the students we work with are balancing academic pressure, relationships, family expectations, and big questions about identity and the future. If you find yourself feeling anxious, burned out, lonely, or unsure of your direction, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. At Pacifica Counseling & Psychiatry, we provide a supportive space where students can slow down, talk honestly about what they’re going through, and develop tools to move forward with more clarity and confidence. Our team works with students navigating stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the pressure to “have everything figured out.” We believe every person’s story is unique, and counseling should reflect that. Whether you’re looking for practical strategies, a place to process life’s challenges, or support during a difficult season, our clinicians are here to help you build resilience and reconnect with a sense of peace and purpose. We look forward to working with you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor at Marietta Roswell Counseling. Are you feeling stressed and overwhelmed, down and depressed, or overcome with worry and fear? I am here to help. You've taken a big step toward your mental health and ideal future by seeking help, and I'd like to help you identify and achieve your goals. I am most passionate about helping adolescents and young adults develop their identities, mental wellbeing, and transition into who they want to be. I understand that finding a therapist that you connect with can be a daunting task, so let me tell you a little about myself. I received my Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kansas and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Olaf College. I completed an internship at the University of Kansas's Counseling Laboratory for the Exploration of Optimal States where I researched and counseled highly creative and gifted high school students, and my practicum at Baker University where I counseled college students on a variety of issues. I approach therapy through a person-centered lens and utilize techniques from an eclectic mix of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy. I appreciate that every client I see is unique and special, and I work very hard to create a warm, supportive environment in which strengths are uncovered and clients are encouraged to grow. I specialize in treating anxiety and depression, and have experience treating ADHD, mood disorders, relationship issues, identity and gender issues, adjustment disorders, sexual assault, trauma, suicidal ideation and self-harm. Regardless of what you are facing, I will help you feel safe, heard, and empowered to make positive changes in your life.

While active listening is an important skill for a therapist, listening can only go so far. Our practice belief is that we actually help you help yourself make the necessary changes in your life by giving you techniques, tools, skills, and guidance to achieve your goals. You'll almost always walk out of a session with a new technique or two that you can go home and start using immediately. Our practice has highly trained therapists, are personable, and we're ready to give you the skills and techniques you need to create change. While any given technique doesn't work for everyone and most people need a plethora of techniques, we'll be sure to give you the techniques and tools that we think are most appropriate for you every time you are here.

Helping You Be True – Therapy for Trauma Survivors, Marginalized People, & Healthy Masculinity: Life can be too much for all of us at times – and what gets us through this overwhelm can sometimes limit us later on. Whether you are overwhelmed now or caught in patterns that limit you, I want to help free you to enjoy more meaningful experiences in life. As a Licensed Psychologist with over 15 years of clinical experience, I specialize in working with adults who are struggling with how they have been hurt and limited by others and have developed patterns that limit them and their relationships. I work especially well with adult survivors of childhood trauma, people with marginalized identities, and helping men develop healthy masculinity. Together, we can help you heal your wounds, grow beyond your present limits, and feel more free to be true to yourself. Skilled therapists are inherently understanding, accepting, and genuine. In addition to these, my clients experience me as particularly warm, calming, sensitive, and lighthearted. It is important to me that in every session, we make space to honor the depth of your struggles, you feel truly valued, and we help you make manageable progress toward your goals. This progress comes from integrating the best available research with my clinical expertise and your unique needs, values, and preferences. In therapy, I primarily use a contemporary psychoanalytic approach that explores how you respond to your emotions, how this influences your relationships, and how these patterns might be reenacted between us. By helping you heal and grow, we will work toward changing your patterns to be true to you. I am committed to therapy because I know firsthand the transformative power of how sharing my struggles with a skilled therapist who is willing to join me can make them easier to bear and overcome. I have developed my specialties with trauma survivors, marginalized people, and healthy masculinity to contribute to a more socially just world in which everyone can heal, social systems improve, and cultures become more compassionate. Beyond my above specialties, I provide therapy for the wide range of concerns listed below. I meet with clients in-person at my calm, comfortable, and private office in a professional business park in East Cobb, Georgia. Whether you're living with depression, anger, problems with motivation or difficulties handling mood swings, I have experience and ideas and a non-judgmental approach to your situation. I'm a straightforward person so I may challenge you if I think that will help you. I can also help you think from a different perspective which in turn can lead to you experiencing different emotions. I have a good critical ear and I can ask you the questions you need to hear in order to feel comfortable with the decisions you want to make. Sometimes I just listen. I also specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. DBT helps people gain control of problem emotions like anxiety and anger. It teaches skills to tolerate Distress and make it through the night when things seem unbearable. DBT also helps individuals learn to say "no" and set limits without feeling guilty. I'm an English man living and working in the USA. I am compassionate and open-minded. I also have a good sense of humor. My goal is to help people feel relaxed, understood and gain a sense of hope that the future can bring peace and optimism.
