Many of us come to therapy looking for relief from emotional pain, but we're often searching for something more. Maybe you're trying to understand yourself better, make sense of what's happened to you, figure out who you are, or find a way of living that feels more true to yourself. To me, therapy is a collaborative process built on authenticity, curiosity, and genuine human connection. I practice primarily from a relational, values-driven, and strength-based perspective, while also incorporating skills-based interventions when they feel helpful to you. Together, we'll explore the patterns, relationships, experiences, and values that have shaped your life. I aim to make therapy feel like a natural conversation where there are no “wrong” things to bring up—sometimes, even the things that seem random or difficult to say can help us understand something meaningful about you. I don't believe I have all the answers to your life (and you don't have to either!) My role is to walk alongside you as we figure things out together, creating space for you to show up as yourself and feel genuinely welcomed, understood, and accepted.

During this difficult time it is a challenge to adapt to changes going on around us. I am providing teletherapy in order to continue making therapy available, but with the security of staying home. Providing individual therapy for adults, adolescents, children, and couples. I have worked with many different clients providing the support needed for change. My experience at Child Guidance Resource Centers and in a College Clinic has given me the opportunity to work with many adults, children, adolescents and families. I find my training is particularly helpful for my clients in that it helps individuals better understand their relationships with themselves and others in their life. I regularly look at the systemic process in relationships, and at attachment issues. My orientation is eclectic, using various disciplines, and skills from psychodynamic, behavioral, systems, and humanistic approaches. I hope you will consider using me as a resource to assist your growth and change. Please feel free to contact me by telephone. My office is in the Main Line area. Thank you. Chas Wargo 610-945-8080
I see patients ages 18+ for initial evaluations and medication management. Rittenhouse Psychiatric Associates is able to accommodate both in-office and Telemedicine Virtual Psychiatric Appointments. I am experienced in the medical treatment of depressive disorders, bipolar disorders, anxiety disorders, attention deficit disorders, trauma disorders, and others. I am a down-to-earth, understanding, and informative provider for my patients. I take a holistic approach. Recommendations may include medication, therapy, changes to diet, activity, lifestyle, and sleep hygiene. Patient education is important to me; all steps recommended are explained thoroughly.

College can be exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, stress, depression, relationship challenges, or adjusting to new responsibilities and life transitions, you don't have to navigate it alone. I work with female college students and young adults who want to better understand themselves, improve their relationships, and feel more confident managing life's challenges. My approach is relational, compassionate, curious, and down-to-earth. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship creates the foundation for meaningful change, and I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, supported, and accepted. I also believe there's room for humor in therapy—healing doesn't have to be serious all the time. Together, we'll explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, increase self-awareness, and develop practical skills to help you manage emotions, cope with stress, and build a life that feels more aligned with your values. My goal is to help you leave therapy with greater confidence, resilience, and tools you can continue using long after our work together.

I offer straight up feedback & suggestions as well as support. I often treat anxiety, depression, mood disorders, transitions, trauma, relationship & family issues, and academic challenges. I love what I do, and I know why I do it. Since 2007 my focus has been coming along side of people and assisting them with challenges they face in life to become the most authentic and genuine person they were meant to be. In my own journey I've come to accept and appreciate the gifts I've been given, even if they're seemingly unrelated. I love my work as a therapist and I will always be passionate about performing music. How the two coexist within me is the journey I'm on. My focus has been in becoming a better therapist each day ... but I also know I'll never stop playing guitar and performing music, it's part of who I am. Book with me now by clicking on my Headway website. For insurances I work through Headway. My private practice is "out of pocket" at $50/session making therapy affordable to those without insurance or high copay. I provide a statement so you can be reimbursed. So finances are not an obstacle we can find an affordable rate for you. I am very passionate about understanding and helping people with the effects of trauma, depression, anxiety, anger, distressful emotions, and broken relationships. This has lead me into further study on how to offer a Trauma-Informed Therapy Approach. One therapy method is EMDR therapy, but other options can be utilized based on your needs. We can talk soon.
