I specialize in helping adolescents and adults overcome the struggles of eating disorders, anxiety, depression, self-harm, and substance abuse. I help my clients learn concrete coping skills and effective ways to take control of their lives. The constant battle of obsessing over one's weight, the unrelenting state of panic and fear at times for no understood reason, and the feelings of shame and urges to self-destruct, don't have to be a part of your life. I've had the opportunity to successfully help people work through these issues and find peace and healing that they deserve. I love working with people with eating disorders because they are intelligent, kind-hearted, and often don't realize their potential and worth in the world. I understand the strength it takes to make the call to ask for help and the uncertainty that comes with starting the recovery process. After studying eating disorders and women's issues extensively and working for years at The Renfrew Center, a renowned residential eating disorder facility, I joined the Emotional Eating program at Princeton House Women's Programs. Feel free to learn more about me and my private practice at www.sarahgoldbergellis.com.

After 40+ years of experience working with depression, anxiety, and stress management, I continue to find deep gratification in helping people relieve suffering and transform their lives. If sexuality is part of your problem, I am one of few professionals certified as a sex therapist, supervisor, and fellow by the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists. I work exclusively with teletherapy, which I find to be as effective as in-person sessions. You can reach me best at robsch77@gmail.com

I've served college students in the university setting for over 20 years, as an academic advisor and counselor on multiple campuses. I have specific experience working with students to help them navigate personal, academic, career, social, stress, wellness, and relationship issues. I have enjoyed particularly assisting students in exploring their identities, managing stress, creating successful academic and experiential strategies and schedules, motivation, selecting a major, deciding up on a career focus, addressing anxiety and depression, navigating life changes, improving relationships, and growing their confidence and self-esteem. I implement practical, goal-oriented treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Client Centered Therapy, and Psychoeducation to help clients recognize thoughts and behaviors that are no longer serving them as they incorporate new strategies for moving forward. I want to enable students to achieve their best potential, question themselves less, and live their most joyful lives.

Dr. Michele Slabaugh, DBH, MA, LPC-MHSP-S, NCC believes in using a combination of approaches to achieve the best outcomes for clients. Most sessions will have a foundation of Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and we will work together to incorporate other techniques such as Solution-Focused Brief therapy, DBT, Psychoeducation, Spirituality/Faith-Based Perspectives, Motivational Interviewing and Positive Behavior Modification approaches as requested and appropriate. After a comprehensive initial biopsychosocial assessment, a treatment plan will be developed with the aim of establishing problematic symptom relief, quality of life improvement/restoration and coping skill generalization. Dr. Slabaugh’s clinical career spans over 35 years starting out in the medical field through nursing and then a transition to the behavioral health field through her work as a services and clinical director treating medically and behaviorally challenged adults and children across all life experiences with extensive experience with complex and co-occurring conditions/diagnoses. Many of the people I work with are Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) who are struggling to navigate multiple areas of their life like work, school, family, relationships, or the intersectionalities of their identities. Many talk about often feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or stuck. This then kicks off to what feels like a never ending cycle of confusion, frustration, depression, and anxiety. Therapy is an opportunity to find clarity and work through these obstacles to help people get their life back on track. My clients and I work together to develop more mindful behaviors to help lead a more meaningful and healthy life. People develop certain attitudes and perspectives based on their early life experiences to survive when they were younger. But these attitudes and perspectives are not helping now which is part of the reason why people might feel stuck. By looking at these attitudes and perspectives closely, people can learn to change how they talk to themselves, how they react to their emotions. and take more thoughtful actions to move forward towards a more authentic and fulfilling life. My practice integrates several evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for Psychosis (CBTp), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) that encompasses principles of person-centered, recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, multiculturalism, and strength-based values. With my compassionate, collaborative, non-judgmental, and down-to-earth style, therapy can address the things that are getting in the way of people’s life so that they can move forward. COMMON EXPERIENCES THAT I WORK WITH PEOPLE ON: - It feels like your mind is playing tricks on you - It feels like your eyes or ears are playing tricks on you - It feels like something odd is going on or hard to explain - Confused at times whether something is real or imaginary - You feel suspicious or mistrustful of others - It feels like you have little control over your thoughts - It feels like others can hear your thoughts or read your mind - Having thoughts or beliefs that you or others find strange - Race-related identity, culture, and intersectionality - Cultural and systemic trauma and oppression

Starting therapy can feel like a big step—especially if you’re used to pushing things down, holding it together for everyone else, or telling yourself, “I should be fine by now.” Maybe part of you wants support & another part is unsure, tired, or scared to open things back up. If that’s you, it makes a lot of sense. Many of the people I work with feel stuck in patterns like people-pleasing, constant self-doubt, overthinking, or feeling burned out. You might feel on edge all the time, replay conversations in your head, or struggle to trust yourself & your choices. Others come in carrying the weight of trauma.
