Are you caught in a loop of asking yourself “was there something about me that made them treat me this way?” Or “am I being sensitive, overreacting, is it my fault?”. Sometimes it’s hard to make sense of our experiences in relationships. Therapy can offer a space for clarity, healing, and transformation. Along with learning how to create a felt sense of safety in relationships. In therapy we will learn to honor both the wisdom of your survival strategies and your desire for change. Therapy can be a place to learn to hold discomfort and transform self esteem. Part of my role is help co-regulate, taking discomfort that individually feels overwhelming and holding it together. Submit your request for therapy services here on Thriving Campus or use the link to my website and schedule your Free 15 minutes consultation. I take the insurance providers listed below and my private pay fee is $150 per 50 minute session. Currently I only offer online teletherapy sessions. I look forward to hearing from you!

You might look like you're holding it together on the outside, but internally things feel overwhelming. I work with teens and adults who are feeling stuck, emotionally exhausted, navigating major life changes, or carrying experiences from the past that continue to affect their daily lives. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, difficult relationships, or simply don't feel like yourself anymore, I'm here to help you reconnect with yourself and move forward. My goal is for you to feel more in control of your life. We’ll explore how your past influences your present, creating a safe space where you feel truly seen. Our time together is to help you discover the strength you already have in you to move forward with clarity and confidence. Taking the first step can feel intimidating, but you don't have to have everything figured out before we meet. Our first session is simply a chance for us to get to know each other, talk about what's bringing you to therapy, and begin creating a plan to move forward that feels right for you.
You may be seeking therapy after a breakup, sudden loss, or overwhelming life experience — especially if you’re someone who is thoughtful, self-aware, and used to functioning at a high level. You understand your anxiety, trauma, or relationship patterns intellectually, yet when something triggers you, your body and emotions react in ways you can’t think you're way out of. Insight alone hasn’t brought the relief you expected. You need a different kind of support. I'll help you find change beyond talk therapy. We can work together in weekly sessions or extended EMDR intensives for accelerated healing-especially when weekly therapy feels too slow or life doesn’t allow for a long-term pace. EMDR helps the brain & body process what’s still “stuck,” so triggers lose their intensity and old patterns no longer run the show. If you’re ready to explore whether therapy with me or an EMDR intensive can help you feel real relief, schedule a free consultation call. I typically respond within 1 business day & we’ll start by talking through what you’re hoping for and whether this feels like a good fit. In-person sessions in East Dallas & online therapy in TX, FL, LA, and VA.
It's wonderful you're taking the step to care for your mental health! I have a heart for college and graduate students and understand the unique stressors of university life, such as academic pressure, social anxieties, and the transition to independence. I am also passionate about helping individuals explore how their cultural and ethnic identities and upbringing interplay with their mental well-being, including the experiences related to cultural identity and navigating multiple cultural spaces. My background as a teacher, HR professional, writer, wife, mother, and therapist has broadened my empathy and understanding of diverse experiences. I graduated with a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Northwestern University and am trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), a well-researched method for trauma. I offer a collaborative therapeutic approach, and utilize many researched methods tailored to your individual needs. I understand that family history and early relationships can significantly impact mental health, so I often begin by exploring these areas. Together, we'll create a plan to achieve your goals. I enjoy working with adults of all ages, but I have a special fondness of college and graduate students during this unique time of exploration and adjustment. Please reach out, and let's figure things out together!
I specialize in supporting high-achieving professionals, especially those in academia or the helping profession (doctors, nurses, therapists, pastors), who grapple with perfectionism, difficulty setting boundaries, codependency, and the challenge of prioritizing their own needs amidst the many demands of their personal and professional lives. As an immigrant, I bring a rich, cross-cultural perspective to therapy and a deep appreciation for how culture shapes identity, relationships, and mental health. Many of my clients are navigating complex intersections of cultural expectations, academic roles, and personal values. In addition to my clinical practice, I am a professor and active researcher. My academic work focuses on interpersonal trauma and its impact on relationships and meaning-making. This dual identity as both clinician and scholar informs my approach: deeply reflective, integrative, and grounded in both science and lived experience. I work exclusively via Telehealth with adult clients residing in GA, MI, and TX. I believe that meaningful change begins with a strong therapeutic relationship—one that offers both safety and challenges patterns by providing direct and honest feedback. If you're ready to invest in yourself and your well-being, I invite you to reach out.
I know life can be difficult, whether you're facing trauma, anxiety, sexual challenges, or the intricacies of autism. You don't have to face these difficulties alone. I enjoy working with individuals and couples over the age of 18, creating a supportive space tailored to your unique needs and goals. I believe that you’re the expert on your life, and I’m here to listen and provide a space where you feel safe to reflect and explore. Whether you're struggling with past pain, current stress, or just trying to figure out your next steps, we’ll work together to move forward at your pace.
Hi, I’m Tabitha Cantu, MSW, LCSW, and I provide virtual therapy to women in university as I understand the challenges college can bring. Many of the women I work with are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, boundaries, life transitions, relationship challenges, family conflict, self-esteem concerns, and the pressures of school, work, and everyday life. As a Hispanic woman who has lived and worked in different states across the U.S., I’ve had the privilege of connecting with people from diverse backgrounds and communities. These experiences have broadened my perspective and deepened my understanding of the unique culture, communities, and challenges individuals face, and shaped the compassionate, culturally responsive approach I bring to therapy. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based, integrating evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused strategies to help clients build coping skills, improve emotional well-being, and create meaningful change. Whether you’re adjusting to college life, managing academic stress, working through relationship concerns, or seeking greater confidence and balance, therapy can provide a space to explore challenges and develop practical tools for growth. I currently offer virtual therapy sessions throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Florida.

Or if you have that difficult relationship in your life that causes you stress and frustration, let's figure out what's going on and the best steps forward.
Are you feeling stuck, isolated overwhelmed, or uncertain about your life's direction? I work with people to understand relationship patterns, process unhealthy or traumatic past relationships, navigate change in their life, and find their direction and passion. Together we can work to help you thrive through out college and as you navigate life after. I also work with people struggling with parenting, fertility, or postpartum issues and conduct ADHD testing. Emily Turinas PhD at Live Oak Psychology is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based individual adult therapy and assessment testing. At Live Oak Psychology, Dr. Turinas works with those struggling with pregnancy & postpartum issues, life transitions, developmental traumas, and relational concerns. Hi, I’m Zoe—a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and DBT-certified therapist, offering virtual therapy across Florida, Illinois, and Texas. I work with college students, especially young women, who feel anxious, misunderstood, or stuck in cycles of self-doubt, perfectionism, or unhealthy patterns. Classes, relationships, family stress, and the constant pressure to “have it all figured out” can leave you feeling overwhelmed. In therapy, you don’t have to perform or pretend you’re fine—you get a space to be real, vent, and start untangling what’s been weighing you down. ✨ You might relate if… You’re overthinking every text, email, or decision. You feel “different” or “too much” compared to your friends. You’re caught in cycles with food, body image, or relationships. You’re exhausted from trying to keep it all together. In our first session, we’ll slow things down. I’ll get to know your story, the challenges you’re facing, and what you’d like to change. You don’t need to have a plan—I’ll ask questions to help us explore your coping patterns, relationships, and what’s been hardest lately. This is a supportive space where you can share at your own pace—no pressure to open up before you’re ready. By the end, we’ll have a clearer picture of your goals and how we can work toward them. My goal is to make sure you feel heard, understood, and supported from the very beginning.
Hello there! I’m Diana, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and I’m here to support you on your mental health journey! My approach is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and deep commitment to individualized care. While I firmly believe in the power of proven, effective treatments - I’m always striving to learn and grow within my field to offer you the best possible support and highest quality care. Together, we’ll work to better understand what’s going on in your life and develop practical strategies to help you move forward with confidence and peace of mind. Known for being a reliable and supportive partner in care, I’ll be with you every step of the way as you navigate life’s challenges. I’m passionate about helping you thrive and find balance—and I look forward to walking alongside you on your path to mental wellness!
Hello! I’m a therapist in private practice, and I work best with students and young adults who feel like they’re carrying a lot on the inside while trying to keep up on the outside. Many of the clients who are a great fit for my practice are navigating anxiety, low mood, self-esteem struggles, emotional dysregulation, grief and loss, the impact of past painful experiences, and major life transitions (starting college, changing majors, moving away from home, new relationships). If you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or like you “should be doing better” but can’t seem to turn it around, you’re not alone. Students often reach out when they’re: • Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or constantly “on edge.” • Stuck in overthinking, perfectionism, or procrastination • Feeling down, numb, unmotivated, or like it’s hard to care about things you used to enjoy • Burned out from juggling school, work, family, or big life changes • Struggling with confidence, self-worth, or a harsh inner critic • Having trouble with relationships, boundaries, or communication • Trying to heal after a painful experience, or coping with grief and loss In our sessions, we’ll slow things down and make sense of what you’re feeling, what’s been happening, and what you want to change. My approach is flexible based on your needs, but I often use CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), which helps you notice unhelpful thought patterns, understand how they affect your feelings and choices, and practice new ways of coping that fit your life. We’ll set clear goals, build practical skills you can use between sessions, and we’ll move at a pace that feels safe, especially if you’re working through trauma or loss. My style is warm, straightforward, and collaborative. You don’t need to know what to say or have a “perfect” reason to start therapy. If you’re looking for a space that feels supportive and real, where you can be honest, get tools that help, and feel more like yourself, I’d be glad to connect. We can start with what’s most urgent and go at a pace that feels manageable.
