As a psychologist, I specialize in working with students - individuals and couples - navigating life transitions, anxiety, addictions, and stress. I worked in a college counseling center for four years and have extensive experience working with undergraduate, graduate, and law students. I offer a warm, collaborative space to explore patterns, build insight, and move toward greater clarity, connection, and alignment with what matters most to you. You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected—navigating a life change, relationship shifts, or school pressure. You’re thoughtful and self-aware, but stuck in patterns that aren’t working. You want space to reflect, understand yourself more deeply, and feel more grounded in how you show up in your life and relationships. If you're feeling stretched thin, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward, you're not alone. Therapy can be a place to slow down, reflect, and feel supported as you navigate what’s next. I’m here to listen without judgment and to walk with you through the challenges. When you're ready, I invite you to reach out.

We believe what makes you different makes you wonderful, not wrong. Too many people spend their first therapy sessions teaching a well-meaning counselor the vocabulary of their own lives before they can even talk about what's actually going on. We started Love Let Out because everyone deserves a therapist who already speaks their language, and because we're committed to dismantling the systemic barriers that keep marginalized communities from getting care that actually fits them. We do this by building our practice around lived understanding, not just clinical training. Our clinicians come from the communities we serve, your life isn't theoretical to us. That means our approach is collaborative and culturally responsive from the first session: we're not assessing whether your relationship structure or identity is "the problem," we're helping you build a life and relationships that actually work for who you are. In practice, that looks like a team of licensed clinicians offering telehealth therapy across Texas, Oregon, and Washington, specializing in open/non-monogamous relationships and kink-affirming care, LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy, neurodivergence (ADHD/autism), and trauma and religious trauma recovery. We work with individuals, couples, and small groups/polycules, ages 15 and up.

What do you do when what everyone calls "the best years of your life' just aren't?? The transition from home to college is an exciting one, but one that brings with it many new experiences...leaving home (sometimes for the first time), living more independently, meeting a whole world of new people, and learning more about yourself...your strengths and weaknesses. As a college student you often face adversities such as a lack of stability, increased social and pressures, and a strong push towards academic hyper-achievement. Together with familial and social (media) pressure college students often experience changes in sleep, eating and energy patterns, irritability, a loss of interest in activities previously enjoyed, and substance abuse. Knowing when you need support, and taking the initiative to actually get that help is an important first step in figuring things out. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, homesickness, finding your people or just trying to figure yourself out I hope that I can help.

Hi! I fundamentally believe you are whole, unbroken and perfect, and I also imagine you might not believe that about yourself sometimes. I work with students experiencing a wide range of challenges including: depression, anxiety, trauma, insomnia and the struggle to love the body one lives in. I use the tools of yoga, embodiment, mindfulness, meditation, and nervous system support to approach healing and integration. As a mental health therapist, certified yoga therapist and ketamine-assisted therapist I work from trauma-sensitive, consent-based and liberatory approaches, and I am committed to you experiencing agency, empowerment and freedom.

The foundation of counseling is a nonjudgmental, empathetic, and collaborative therapeutic relationship. My first goal is to create a safe and accepting relational space where my clients can be their true selves and explore their emotions and experiences. I tailor treatment to the needs of each client, drawing on several different approaches, including AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) and CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy). Depending on the goals of my clients, I help them process past trauma, work through difficult emotions, address anxiety, and arrive at what attitude they want to adopt towards their struggles. AEDP is my primary approach to counseling, and I receive ongoing training in it. It is particularly well suited to processing past trauma. It is attachment based, meaning we look at the impact of past childhood relationships. I am also helping my clients raise their awareness of their bodies and increase their ability to both access and regulate emotions. I earned a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Walden University in February of 2024. I have been working at Empowering Choices Counseling and Consultation as a counseling associate since the summer of 2024. My previous professional experience includes working as a treatment aide with youth and men at a residential addiction treatment program and a nine-month counseling internship I did at Empowering Choices as part of my master’s program. I work with adults of all ages, specializing in helping people work through trauma, depression, and anxiety. Over time, the counseling journey can help you process difficult emotions, heal from trauma, find inner strength, and gain clarity on life. Like other vehicles of personal growth, counseling involves challenging yourself in new ways, but an empathetic, non-judgmental, and encouraging guide can provide the support and safety needed to navigate the challenges.

I provide empathetic, personalized support to college students who are working to adjust to a college environment, managing new and difficult social situations, or working on themselves and discovering their identity now that they are away from home. My approach tends to be more casual and less clinical. I'm excited to help students explore any new and challenging areas they are facing in college.

Any of us, from adults to very young children, can experience life challenges that require the caring support of other people. Sometimes we need help to navigate these challenges, and to heal, reorient, and move forward in our lives toward better health and wholeness. When the emotional support of friends and family is not enough, establishing a safe, collaborative relationship with a psychotherapist can be a valuable resource. I enjoy working with students who are ready to access support and guidance in order to address the social-emotional or mental health challenges that are holding them back; the changes and healing they are seeking in their relationships with parents, other family members, friends and/or partners; and clarification of needs, wants and life goals.

You don’t have to go through life’s challenges alone. I work with adults facing depression, anxiety, grief, trauma/complex PTSD, life transitions such as being in college, addiction, and chronic pain. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to take the next step toward healing. I take a holistic, person-centered approach to therapy, tailoring treatment to your unique needs. Depending on your goals, we may use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), somatic work, Rogerian Therapy, motivational interviewing, or other evidence-based practices. I have a down-to-earth, gentle style and the belief that you are the expert in your own life. I’m here to walk alongside you, offering tools, insight, and encouragement as you move toward growth and relief. I strive to provide an environment of safety, acceptance, and empowerment. My approach is described as easy-going, direct and nonjudgmental. I respect my clients’ needs and welcome the opportunity to work with people of diverse backgrounds, identities, and relationships. My goal is to help you find relief through expanded self-awareness, healing of old wounds, increased connectedness, development of practical tools, and shifting out of old/unhelpful patterns. People often come into therapy with coping mechanisms that no longer serve them. I work to find balance by providing support as well as challenging you, to encourage growth while also promoting compassion for who and where you are now. I really value being a safe person for my clients in a world that can feel unsafe. I have expertise and a passion for trauma recovery, identity exploration (including gender & sexual identity), navigating systems of oppression, attachment, and relational concerns. I’ve specialized in EMDR for 11 years, and utilize mindfulness, CBT, polyvagal theory, ego state, and DBT- with my approach being tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.

My approach is guided by empathy, understanding and attention to details of events and your reactions, including experiences in sessions. I am a careful and deep listener, interested in your feelings, goals and what impacts self doubt. Together we can discover what underlies conflict and learn about the context and meaning of choices that impede progress. My work is deep, analytic, relationally oriented. Psychotherapy can help you through the struggles and complexities of family, work and relationship distress. In addition, threats of climate, national and international upheaval persist.
