You didn’t end up here because you’re weak, you ended up here because carrying everything alone most likely became too heavy. I work with teens (15+), adults, and couples to break out of patterns around self-esteem, trauma, substance use, and relationships. Therapy with me is warm and honest and I aim to create a space where you feel safe and supported yet challenged to confront what keeps you stuck. I became a therapist because I’ve been on the other side of struggle and I know how powerful it can be to feel truly understood. In particular, I relate well with teens who are struggling with self-esteem, school struggles, and stress related to their future. Please reach out today if you are looking for someone who truly “gets it”.
College is a time in life where individuals face a lot of challenges as they transition from teens to adults. My office work with individuals struggling with these life transitions, anxiety, OCD, stress, trauma, and emotion regulation/ and/or highly activated individuals.
We provide personalized, collaborative mental health care designed to meet people where they are - our clinicians work in tandem with each client to create a treatment experience that feels supportive, thoughtful, and tailored to your unique needs. We offer individual, couples, family, and group therapy, as well as comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations. Our areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, ADHD, neurodiversity and autism, grief, and life transitions.
As a board-certified psychiatrist with extensive academic and clinical experience, I provide personalized mental health care tailored to the unique pressures of campus life. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, burnout, and sleep disorders, with a particular focus on how these impact your educational and career goals. My approach is holistic and collaborative: I combine expert diagnostic evaluations with synergistic medication management and psychotherapy. Beyond traditional clinical methods, I incorporate lifestyle modifications—such as sleep hygiene, nutrition, and relationship wellness—to help you not just manage symptoms, but truly thrive. Whether you are navigating a difficult semester or seeking long-term support, I offer a private, culturally competent space to pursue your well-being.
I strive to create a safe, affirming, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to explore past experiences, navigate current challenges, and build meaningful change. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I work alongside clients to identify their strengths, develop practical coping skills, and move toward the life they want to create.
I bring over 20 years of experience working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families, supporting clients ages 5 and up across a range of settings including outpatient care, adolescent dual-diagnosis day treatment, and adult residential treatment. I work with individuals and families navigating anxiety, depression, anger management, parenting challenges, ADHD, relationship concerns, and substance use. I also hold a substance use specialty attached to my license, which allows me to support clients with co-occurring mental health and substance-related concerns in a grounded, practical way. My goal is to meet you where you are and help you move forward with clarity, support, and realistic tools for change.
It's my belief to "Keep life simple." Life is stressful enough. Balancing work, family, social life, friends, and relationships can be overwhelming at times. I practice from a harm reduction holistic theoretical orientation. It combines person-centered (respect for autonomy) with CBT/systemic therapy (a critical look at culture and attachments). By identifying wants and needs, I can assist clients with locating triggers and establishing healthy coping skills to alleviate any mental, emotional, or physical stress. I work particularly with parents and clients dealing with ADHD, Life choices, anxiety, self-esteem and accountability. I assist clients in adjusting to unexpected life transitions by constructing healthier boundaries with themselves and others to balance their lifestyles. I value the importance of creating a supportive, transparent, and collaborative relationship throughout the therapy process. I do this by providing a safe space for clients to embrace their vulnerabilities. Difficult experiences often show up in the body. Accessing embodied experience helps clients evolve. These shifts in the body have a corresponding effect on our actions, routines, and relationships. Through mindful awareness, we discover how the body holds our experiences. We learn to recognize habitual patterns and create new ones. The healing starts now...

You can keep coping the way you are OR we can upgrade the system! Our lively, challenging, encouraging providers at ElevateEQ Health can't change who your boss or manager is and they can't tell your in-laws to stop being critical or judgmental. I started Influential Connections Counseling, after having worked 11 years with adults and families in the human service areas of abuse, neglect, trauma, substance abuse, domestic violence, relationship challenges, and various mental health diagnoses. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and certified social worker. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship. A relationship that relies on trust, connection, empathy, and mutual respect. It can take time to build the therapeutic relationship. I often describe therapy as a space to discuss the good, the bad, and the ugly. Life is challenging, ever changing, and beautiful. Whether life's changes are positive or negative, it influences our mental health, our relationships, and our physical bodies. The therapeutic process happens in session and in your daily life as you build self-awareness and enhance skills to obtain your goal(s).
I take a holistic approach to well-being, recognizing the deep connection between physical, emotional, and mental health. Whether you’re facing stress, anxiety, life transitions, health concerns, or simply feeling stuck, I will meet you where you are. Together, we’ll work toward healing, resilience, and meaningful change. You can view my insurance and schedule appointments with me at:https://care.headway.co/providers/jill-staloch
I am so happy you are here! I am dually licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Substance Abuse Counselor (SAC) and have been practicing as a therapist since 2021. Clients often come to me when they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or caught in patterns they want to change but haven’t been able to shift on their own. My role is to help you develop a deeper understanding of your inner self so you can better recognize patterns, emotions, and needs that may be driving your thoughts and behaviors. From that place of awareness, we focus on self-growth and healing by building insight, emotional regulation skills, and healthier ways of coping.
We specialize in providing trauma, sex, body and LGBTQIA+ affirmative psychotherapy to those who feel lost and unsatisfied, and want a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships. We're here to help you slow down, sort through the pressure, and figure out how the hell to take care of yourself and go after the life you want while remaining true to who you are. It doesn’t have to be so hard. We are not distant, blank faced analysts, but instead are responsive and collaborative in our approach. Together, we will untangle the knots created by anxiety, depression, trauma, family, eating, and relationship problems that leave you feeling disconnected from yourself, your body, and your emotions.
Hi, I'm very down to earth and create a welcoming and warm space to come as you are. I will assist you in feeling relief quickly. My approach is holistic, meaning we look at your thoughts, how your body responds to stress, and your spiritual self. We might talk through your experiences, use guided imagery, or practice connecting with your body. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can be yourself, feel understood, and gain insights into what’s happening in your life. My typical hours are Monday, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 8am- 1pm. I work with college students and adults who are dealing with the pressure of academics, social dynamics, and the big transitions that come with this stage of life. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, stress, or feeling disconnected from yourself, I’m here to help. Together, we can explore how to manage the demands of school, relationships, and future goals, while also addressing any underlying beliefs or past experiences that may be affecting you. What is your communication style? I focus on creating a comfortable, judgment-free environment built on trust and respect. Depending on what feels right for you, I can offer quiet reflection or take a more proactive, coaching-style approach. My goal is to adapt to your unique needs, making sure our time together feels collaborative and safe so you can explore your challenges at your own pace. How do you approach goal setting with clients? When we set goals, we’ll look at three main areas: what’s happening in your life right now, how past experiences or beliefs may be shaping your current behaviors, and what you want to achieve in the future. We’ll break things down into manageable steps, adjusting along the way as needed to help you move toward your goals, whether that’s feeling more confident, managing stress better, or making big life decisions. What should clients expect during a first session with you? In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other. You can share about your college experience, relationships, and what’s currently causing stress or frustration. I’ll listen closely, and together we’ll identify some initial goals to work on. By the end of the session, I hope you’ll feel heard and leave with a sense of hope and direction for what’s next. Tell us about your journey to becoming a therapist. I’ve always been sensitive to emotions and found art and creativity to be healing when I was younger. During college, I struggled with panic attacks, and that experience led me to discover the power of therapy and healing techniques. My journey inspired me to help others going through similar challenges. Now, I combine traditional therapy with mindfulness and energy healing, using what I’ve learned to help college students like you find balance, heal, and grow.
The students I work best with are often balancing a lot at once. They may be trying to keep up with classes, work, family responsibilities, relationships, or uncertainty about their future while also managing stress, anxiety, burnout, or self-doubt. Many of the students I see are high-achieving and hardworking, but underneath the surface they feel overwhelmed, exhausted, stuck, or like they're carrying more than other people realize. Some are adjusting to college life, navigating major life transitions, or trying to figure out who they are and what they want for themselves. You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, academic stress, confidence, or simply feeling lost, therapy can provide a supportive space to better understand yourself and develop tools to move forward. My goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where you can be yourself, explore what's getting in the way, and build the skills and confidence needed to thrive both in college and beyond.
